In 2011 be up to date with Lesaffre Human Care

Nowadays, health claims are everywhere. In Europe, the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) was asked by the European Commission to scientifically evaluate the requests for authorisation of health claims.

So far, the EFSA gave scientific opinions on 2,187 generic health claims requests (on a total of 4,637 generic health claims). Only a little more than 20% received a positive opinion from the EFSA.
